Try out our urban walking poles!
Thanks to the Northwestern Health Unit the library now has five pairs of urban walking poles to lend out!
Urban poling (also known as Nordic walking) engages the upper body during a walk and has fitness benefits that have made it a popular workout in Europe for decades and a new favourite in Canada. You can learn more here: https://urbanpoling.com/getting-started/#introduction
Curbside pickup is still available for those who feel uncomfortable entering the library. Just give us a call or email and we will let you know when you can pick up your requested items.
