Summer hours at the Emo Landfill Site, effective June 1 to September 1:
Tuesdays: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
FIRE BAN TO BE LIFTED AT MIDNIGHT on May 26, 2020: The Total Fire Ban previously issued in the Township Emo will be lifted effective May 26, 2020 at midnight.
The hazard level can be checked online at http://emo.burnpermits.com or by calling into the automated number on your permit, which is required to "activate" your permit prior to every burn. It is critical that anyone planning to burn always check the current hazard rating as it is updated on a regular basis, based on real-time data.
